Brecon Athletic Club is based in the Powys town of Brecon, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The club caters for all ages and abilities, with groups for Track and Field, Cross Country and Road Running events.

Please note that training and competition are limited in line with Welsh Athletics and UK Government guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please contact the club to see which training sessions and competitions are available.

Training takes place at the 400m Penlan track (postcode LD3 9SR) in the outdoor season (March to September), and within the adjacent sports facilities at the leisure centre and high school in the indoor/cross country season (September to March), on Mondays and Thursdays. Please contact the club secretary via breconacsec(at) for times for different groups or see our Facebook page.

Training fees are £2 per session, the first three sessions are free. Membership fees apply for athletes who wish to continue training and competing for the club.

We have a closed group on Facebook for current members - Brecon Athletic Club. We also have a public page for all interested athletes and parents - Brecon AC.
